Living in wine country, I don’t have the opportunity to photograph many church weddings. But when I do, I’m reminded how special they really are. Walking into St. Vincent’s feels transcendent – it’s a gorgeous space – but more than that, it just feels sacred.
Dave & Joanna kept things traditional by not seeing each other prior to the ceremony. Dave’s jaw nearly hit the floor as the church doors swung open & Joanna walked down the aisle toward him. She totally took his breath away, and it was pretty much the sweetest ever!
She carried a bouquet made by one of her bridesmaids, the calligraphy you see throughout was done by another. Attached to her bouquet was her grandmother’s rosary that had been blessed by the Pope this past year. These were just a few of the details that made the day so special!
They dined alfresco, ate gelato + gluten free cake & danced the night away. See how it all unfolded below!
Congratulations Dave & Joanna, it was such a joy to photograph your day!
