Hi, I’m Courtney.

I’m a wedding and portrait photographer, wife to a Sonoma winemaker, and lucky enough to call Sonoma wine country home.

For over 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing hundreds of weddings throughout Sonoma and Napa wine country, along with celebrations in places like Lake Como, Mexico, Washington, and North Carolina. After witnessing so many wedding days unfold, I’ve learned that the photographs people treasure most are rarely the moments that were perfectly planned. They are the moments that happen naturally: a hand squeeze before the ceremony, a parent’s expression from across the room, the laughter that fills the dance floor, and the people who make the day feel unforgettable.

I’ve always been drawn to beautiful things. Sunlight spilling across a vineyard. Thoughtful design. Fresh flowers. A perfectly chilled glass of Chardonnay that my husband helped make. But what I love most are the people at the center of it all.

I believe beautiful photographs should come from a beautiful experience, never replace it.

The best weddings aren’t just beautiful. They’re alive. They are full of laughter, happy tears, unexpected moments, and the people you love most. My role is not to turn your wedding day into a photoshoot. It’s to help you fully experience it while preserving the moments that make it yours.

I’ll offer direction when it helps, step back when it doesn’t, and create enough breathing room for you to be present. The greatest compliment I can receive is hearing, “I didn’t even know you captured that.”

My approach blends timeless imagery with honest storytelling. I photograph with both digital and film because film has a way of slowing everything down. The softness, texture, and intentionality create photographs that feel like memories from the very beginning. My goal is for your images to feel true decades from now: elegant portraits, genuine emotion, and the quiet in-between moments you didn’t realize mattered yet.

A husband-and-wife photography team:

For weddings, I’m joined by my husband, Joey. Together, we bring a shared vision and a natural rhythm that comes from years of knowing how the other sees the world.

While I’m photographing your walk down the aisle, Joey may be capturing your partner’s reaction. While I’m creating portraits with you, he’s preserving the laughter, hugs, and conversations unfolding around you. Because we already know how to anticipate each other, we’re able to tell a fuller story while giving you the freedom to simply enjoy your day.

Joey’s background as a Sonoma winemaker gives us an even deeper connection to the place we call home. Together, we appreciate the details that make wine country special: changing seasons, long dinners with friends, beautiful landscapes, and the moments that bring people together.

Outside of weddings, you’ll usually find Joey and me surrounded by our four kids, exploring the Sonoma Coast, tending the garden, making wood-fired pizza in the backyard, or chasing our Bernedoodle, Poppy, through the house. Our home is full, a little chaotic, and always filled with stories, which is probably why I’m so drawn to celebrations that feel genuine rather than perfectly produced.
