Hi, I’m Courtney.
I’m a wedding and portrait photographer, wife to a Sonoma winemaker, and lucky enough to call Sonoma wine county home.
I love beautiful things. Sunlight spilling across a vineyard. Thoughtful design. Fresh flowers. A perfectly chilled glass of Chardonnay that my husband helped make. But what I love most are the people at the center of it all.
The best weddings aren’t just beautiful. They’re alive. The kind where everyone is laughing one minute and wiping away tears the next. Where your grandmother reaches for your hand during the ceremony. Where the dance floor fills before dinner is even served. Those are the moments I’m watching for just as much as the portraits and details.
My approach blends carefully crafted portraits with the unscripted moments that make your day yours. I shoot both digital and film, because film has a way of slowing everything down and turning real moments into something that feels like memory. I want your photographs to bring you back to the feeling of the day, even years later. You’ll get a balance of elegant portraits, joyful celebrations, and the small moments that happen when everyone forgets the camera is there.
When we’re together, my goal is simple. I want you to feel like yourself. I’ll offer direction when it helps, step back when it doesn’t, and document the day as it unfolds without forcing it into something it’s not.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me on the Sonoma Coast with my family, making wood-fired pizza in the backyard, or chasing our bernedoodle, Poppy, through the house while we get ready for the next adventure.

Most of the time, I won’t ask you to stand still for long. I’ll guide you into moments that feel easy and natural. Walking, moving, laughing, being close. The kind of moments that already exist between you, without needing to be created.
I want your photographs to feel like you. Not polished versions or carefully performed moments, but the way you actually are when you’re relaxed and fully present with the people you love. Small gestures. Quick glances. The kind of laughter that happens before you realize someone is taking the photo.
I care just as much about how everything looks. Light, timing, location, and composition all matter. I’ll help shape those pieces so you’re always in the right place at the right moment, without it feeling forced or overly directed. Nothing random. Nothing left to chance.
