Hi, I’m Courtney.
I’m a wedding and portrait photographer, wife to a Sonoma winemaker, and lucky enough to call Sonoma wine county home.
I love beautiful things. Sunlight spilling across a vineyard. Thoughtful design. Fresh flowers. A perfectly chilled glass of Chardonnay that my husband helped make. But what I love most are the people at the center of it all.
The best weddings aren’t just beautiful. They’re alive. The kind where everyone is laughing one minute and wiping away tears the next. Where your grandmother reaches for your hand during the ceremony. Where the dance floor fills before dinner is even served. Those are the moments I’m watching for just as much as the portraits and details.
My approach blends carefully crafted portraits with the unscripted moments that make your day yours. I shoot both digital and film, because film has a way of slowing everything down and turning real moments into something that feels like memory. I want your photographs to bring you back to the feeling of the day, even years later. You’ll get a balance of elegant portraits, joyful celebrations, and the small moments that happen when everyone forgets the camera is there.
When we’re together, my goal is simple. I want you to feel like yourself. I’ll offer direction when it helps, step back when it doesn’t, and document the day as it unfolds without forcing it into something it’s not.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me on the Sonoma Coast with my family, making wood-fired pizza in the backyard, or chasing our bernedoodle, Poppy, through the house while we get ready for the next adventure.

Most of the time, I won’t ask you to stand still. Instead, I’ll guide you into moments that feel natural and effortless: walking together, laughing, holding each other close, and simply being yourselves. The moments that already exist between you are the ones worth remembering.
I want your photographs to feel like you. Not a polished version or a performance, but the way you look and feel when you are fully present with the people you love. The quiet gestures, the quick glances, the laughter that happens before you even realize a photograph is being made.
Beautiful photographs also require intention. Light, timing, composition, and location all matter. I’ll help shape those elements so you feel comfortable and confident while creating images that feel refined, timeless, and true to your story.
