A Vibrant Indian Wedding at The Meritage Resort in Napa Valley

Some weddings stay with you because of the location. Others stay with you because of the people, the energy, and the feeling that fills the room.

Sunil and Latika’s Indian wedding at The Meritage Resort in Napa Valley was unforgettable for all of those reasons.

From the vibrant colors and incredible floral details to the joy that surrounded every tradition, this celebration was filled with so much beauty, emotion, and connection. I had the honor of photographing not only their wedding day at The Meritage Resort, but also their Mehndi celebration at Tra Vigne in St. Helena.

The Meritage Resort was the perfect Napa Valley setting for this celebration. With its vineyard views, elegant spaces, and warm Wine Country atmosphere, it provided a beautiful backdrop for a wedding filled with meaningful traditions and unforgettable moments.

One of my favorite parts of this wedding was the incredible mandap design. The combination of beautiful florals, rich colors, and thoughtful details created a ceremony space that felt both elegant and deeply personal.

But beyond the details, what I remember most is the emotion of the day. The excitement before the ceremony. The joy of celebrating with family and friends. The moment Sunil and Latika walked back down the aisle as husband and wife.

Those are always the photographs I care about most.

Beautiful details matter, but the images that become meaningful over time are the ones that bring you back to a feeling: the way you looked at each other, the laughter shared with family, and the overwhelming happiness of having everyone you love together in one place.

Napa Valley is such a special place to celebrate a wedding, and I loved documenting a day that honored both tradition and the unique story of this couple.

I was so honored to photograph Sunil and Latika’s Meritage Resort wedding and preserve these memories for their family to enjoy for generations.
