Hi, I'm Courtney.
I'm a wedding and portrait photographer, wife to a Sonoma winemaker, and lucky enough to call Wine Country home. Living just minutes from Napa Valley means I spend my weekends exploring its vineyards, celebrating alongside couples, and photographing some of California's most breathtaking wedding venues.
I've always been drawn to beauty. The soft glow of evening light across the vines. Thoughtfully designed spaces. Lush florals. A beautifully prepared meal shared with the people you love most. But as much as I appreciate every beautiful detail, it's the people who will always matter most.
The weddings I remember aren't defined by the venue alone. They're the ones where parents can't hold back tears during the ceremony, where friends erupt into laughter during toasts, and where the dance floor is already full before dinner has even ended. Those are the moments I'm watching for just as carefully as the portraits, tablescapes, and golden-hour light.
My approach blends timeless imagery with honest storytelling. I photograph both digital and film because film has a way of slowing everything down and preserving a feeling, not just a moment. The result is a collection of photographs that feels elegant, emotional, and true to your day, balancing refined portraits with the quiet, unscripted moments you didn't even realize were unfolding.
When we're together, my goal is simple: I want you to feel completely at ease. I'll guide you when it helps, step back when it doesn't, and create space for your wedding day to unfold naturally while making sure every photograph feels intentional.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me exploring Wine Country with my family, walking the Sonoma Coast, making wood-fired pizza in the backyard, or chasing our bernedoodle, Poppy, around the house.

The photographs I care about most aren't just beautiful. They're the ones that communicate how you felt about each other in that moment.
That's why I won't ask you to spend your wedding day standing still or worrying about what to do with your hands. I'll guide you when you need it, then step back and let the moments unfold. We'll walk through the vineyards, twirl under the olive trees, laugh, talk, and simply spend time together. Before long, you'll stop thinking about the camera altogether.
The number one thing couples tell me after their wedding is how comfortable they felt. I think that's what makes the biggest difference. When you feel relaxed, your photographs look relaxed. Your expressions are genuine, your connection comes naturally, and your gallery feels like an honest reflection of who you are.
Of course, beautiful photographs also require intention. I pay close attention to light, timing, composition, and the landscape around us, whether we're wandering through a vineyard at sunset, stepping into the cool quiet of a wine cave, or celebrating beneath the stars. Every portrait is thoughtfully crafted, but never at the expense of the experience.
I believe great wedding photography is about far more than creating one perfect image.
