Your wedding day is not a photoshoot. It is a celebration of the people you love, the memories you are creating, and the little moments you never want to forget.
My role is to create photographs that feel elevated and timeless while making sure you are fully present for the experience itself. I’ll guide you when you need it, step back when the moment deserves it, and quietly pay attention to everything happening around you.
Because the best photographs often come when you are simply enjoying your day.
Every couple and every wedding is different, so I take time to understand what matters most to you.
Before your wedding, I’ll help you create a photography timeline that allows room for beautiful portraits while still giving you plenty of time to celebrate with your favorite people. I’ll send a questionnaire to learn more about your plans, help with engagement session locations, and happily share vendor recommendations from the talented people I’ve loved working alongside throughout Sonoma and Napa wine country.
My goal is for you to feel confident and cared for before you ever step in front of my camera.
Engagement sessions are about more than taking beautiful photos. They are a chance to get comfortable together, celebrate this season of life, and have fun before the wedding day arrives.
Whether we are exploring the coastal cliffs of the Marin Headlands, wandering through the hills at Alston Park, or finding another location that feels like you, I’ll guide you through the process while leaving room for the natural moments that make your relationship unique.
I photograph engagements with both digital and film, creating images that feel relaxed, personal, and full of personality.
My approach is calm, observant, and intentional. I want to feel like both a trusted friend and a quiet presence in the background.
I’ll notice the small things: the way your family looks at you during the ceremony, the friend who makes everyone laugh, the light changing across the vineyard, and the moments happening just outside the timeline.
When it comes to portraits, I believe beautiful photographs do not require hours away from your celebration. I’ll guide you through natural posing, find the best light, and create the beautiful images you’ve dreamed of while making sure you get back to the people and moments you came to enjoy.
For weddings, I’m joined by my husband, Joey, which allows us to preserve even more of your story without adding more interruption to your day. While I’m focused on creating portraits with you, Joey is often capturing the moments happening around you: your partner’s reaction, your parents watching from across the room, or the laughter shared between friends.
Because we work together so naturally, we’re able to anticipate moments and move through the day seamlessly. You get two perspectives and a fuller story, while still having the space to be fully present.
I will never recreate a moment that already happened or force something that doesn’t feel like you. The goal is always photographs that feel beautiful because they felt natural while they were happening.
After your wedding, I’ll send a preview gallery within 48 hours so you can relive some of your favorite moments while the memories are still fresh.
Your full gallery will be delivered within one month, filled with a balance of elegant portraits, joyful celebrations, and the quiet in-between moments that tell the full story of your day.
I believe photographs are meant to be lived with, not just stored on a computer. I offer heirloom albums, gallery wraps, and fine art prints so your memories can become part of your home and your everyday life.
You care about the details. The flowers, the setting, the dress, the thoughtful touches that make your wedding feel like yours.
But you care even more about the people gathered around you.
You want beautiful photographs, but you also want to laugh with your friends, savor the meal, dance until the end of the night, and remember what it felt like to be surrounded by everyone you love.
That balance is what I love to photograph: the beauty you planned and the moments you never could have.
I would be honored to preserve your story.
