The first thing I said to my husband after photographing this session was {in a text} “omg I just photographed the nicest family and I really want to go to Texas!”

The Ray family was visiting Napa from Texas a couple weeks back. I was able to meet up with them in St. Helena for some family photos {I also did some engagement photos for Jason and Lauren!!!}.

I had such a great time with this family – they are warm, charismatic and full of joy. They also totally sold me on how awesome Texas is and now I’m really dying to go. If people in Texas are half as nice as this family, then I’m pretty sure I’d have a fantastic trip!
