This collaboration was inspired by antique family heirlooms and accentuated by modern touches to create a timeless vision. The intentional simplicity of this styled shoot highlights the stunning elements of the small details.
Triple S Ranch, an eclectic private resort in the hills above Calistoga, is such a beautiful space on its own that we really wanted to highlight one of the most amazing features of the property – the giant 100 year old walnut tree. On it’s own, the tree is breathtaking; especially at sunset with the sun peeking through the branches. By accenting the space with simple greenery and elegant draping, we were able to draw attention to the beautiful ceremony location without overshadowing the natural beauty of the tree.
Ali wore her grandmother’s wedding dress, handmade by her great grandmother in 1939. The dress’s timeless elegance inspired the classic cascading bouquet – an homage to the past – but of course with a modern flair. The veil worn in the shoot was also a vintage piece; Maria (of Studio Wildflower), brought her grandmothers wedding veil. The long train and classic lace added a vintage flare to the bridal look.
