Meet Us At The Market | Jonathan and Danielle | Seattle Wedding Photographer
Ahhh so excited to share this one!!
This was truly one of the most unique and special weddings I have ever been to! Every aspect of Jonathan and Danielle’s wedding was personal to them – from the “flower girl”‘ (aka their dog Penny Lane) with her dress hand made by Danielle, to the flowers and the venue – every detail was thoughtful + original!
The day started with Danielle, her maid of honor and friend/florist heading to Pike Place Market to pick up flowers for the bouquets. Danielle prepared for the ceremony surrounded by friends and family before venturing down the road to Pike Place Market.
Danielle made her garter – adorable!
oh hey, Penny Lane!
The wedding ceremony took place at 6:57 pm at Pike Place Market, “around the corner from the gum wall, below the fish-throwers, down the stairs from the famous pig, and across from il bistro restaurant” (a direct quote from their wedding invitation). A close friend of the couple married them, and compared Jonathan & Danielle’s love to Johnny and June (Jonathan and Danielle are both talented musicians – check them out henryatwar.com).
Could she be any cuter?!
The ceremony included approximately 150 guests, but there were countless other onlookers since the market was still open!
They took a signed lock and locked it to the fence above where they were married, and later threw the key into the Puget Sound – love it!
Nothing beats a beautiful Seattle sunset in my opinion. They are rare, but total magic 😉
The reception took place at il bistro, located in Pike Place market where the couple forewent the traditional first dance, and sang a song they wrote together for the occasion while their guests hummed along on kazoos. Jonathan made drinks behind the bar and guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers. So. Much. Fun.
Thanks for letting me photograph your day Jonathan and Danielle, love you guys!
Now *that* is a party. Looks like such a fun wedding. Beautiful couple.
